Welcome to this weeks Top Three Tuesday. I took a bit of a break from blogging last week, mainly because I wasn’t feeling well. Turns out I was crazy low in Vitamin D, which is why I was constantly feeling tired, run down, exhausted, unable to concentrate etc. An aussie, low in vitamin D may sound odd, the sun literally shines here 95% of the year, but I get sunburnt hanging out my washing! I try to avoid a lot of direct sunlight and because I wasn’t feeling great the last few weeks I was staying inside more. I’m now taking Vitamin D tablets everyday and I’m slowly starting to feel like myself again.
So back to blogging!
- Star Wars Cake
This week my nephew turns 11! He is getting so big now I wish time would slow down. He is my eldest nephew and I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. Aunty Kelly feels so old. My sister in law makes the best cakes for her boys birthdays. This year was no different. We had a family dinner over the weekend complete with home made Star Wars cake. How cool does it look! She did such a great job.
3. Apple and Mixed Berry Crumble
Two weeks ago my mum came over on Sunday to watch some documentary’s on the Queen in celebration of her 90th Birthday . It was actually a really cold (cold for Perth) weekend with lots of stormy weather around, so I decided to make roast lamb for lunch. Yummy warm food and having the oven on would also help to warm up the house. As the oven would be on I wanted to bake a dessert too. I had a look through my fridge and cupboards and found enough ingredients to throw together a crumble. I didn’t get a chance to take any proper photos of it before it completely disappeared into our belly’s. But I managed to snap a few pics on my phone. If you love ANZAC Biscuits you are going to LOVE this crumble, as the crumble topping is essentially one giant ANZAC Biscuit! Speaking of ANZAC Biscuits, click here to see the ones I made a few weeks ago.
3. Review on Sale
One of my favourite fashion labels is having a sale at the moment. I love Review dresses if I could afford to wear them everyday I would. A few weeks ago I tried on a really cute dress from their new collection. I fell in love with in on the spot. But as I didn’t have an event coming up to wear it I couldn’t justify spending so much money on a dress. Even though it was SOOO pretty. I received an email notifying me of their sale and I jumped online straight away to see if ‘my dress’ was reduced….. and it was! I ordered my size (so glad I had already tried it on) and it should arrive in the next day or so. So excited! There are still some sizes left, if you love this dress as much as me, click here!
That’s it for this week. Thanks for stopping by!
See you next time 🙂
